In the lands of the former Soviet Union everybody knows who Lenin is, as he was deified pro vita. He is the man who lived, is alive and will live forever. He is the man who became the ideological encourager and leader of the October takeover, which we call the Great October Socialist Revolution. He is the man who started the development of socialism in Europe. His portrays were placed everywhere and the gaze of his intent and clever eyes penetrated into every soul. The memorials of him, pointing out the way to the bright future with his hand, were placed in central streets of all towns. Even the childhood of Lenin (whose real name was Volodya Ulyanov) was a great example for all Soviet children.

The memory about Lenin is gradually erasing, and not every child knows who he was. Though, for many Russians he stays a cultic figure, a brand, an icon, with which one could bravely go for a battle. His body is still resting in the Mausoleum in the Red Square, in the main square of the country, however there were many attempts to bury it in the ground. They say that until he is buried, the evil doom will haunt the country, as Lenin is alive and will live… at least in hearts.
